課程概述 |
本課程就音樂的技術與形式兩個面向,來討論自歐洲十八世紀中葉之後,所產生的所謂【現代性】(modernity),在近兩百年與音樂文化的互動,包括二十世紀後,亞洲音樂對於此一現象的回應。本課程所指的技術,雖然仍然可以理解為處理創作材料的技法,卻包括一般認為非音樂的面向,包括整體社會因素,也包括全球的文化經濟政治結構,而這些不同面向的共同呈現,都是音樂技術形式的一部份。 |
課程目標 |
本課程試圖重新探討音樂技術與形式的觀看角度,因此課程的內容,除了音樂文獻之外,並包括近年來探討現代性的理論與歷史文獻。課程大致分為三個部份:
一、有關現代性的理論文獻
二、音樂的形式與技術-以十九世紀歐洲為例
三、音樂現代性近年議題:全球化、科技、形式

課程要求 |
本課程以工作坊的形式為教學主要方式,幫助同學發展本身的研究計畫,並配合教師講授與課堂討論;修課同學除了期末作業(口頭+書面)外,其餘評量皆依據學期間之課堂作業、討論、與口頭報告(每位修課同學在學期間,必須負責一次閱讀文獻之短口頭報告)。
成績評量標準如下:
一、上課參與及帶領討論 50%(包括學期中之分組報告)
二、學期作業 50% (包括期末口頭報告) |
